Vero Cheer, Vero Beach's premier all-star cheerleading training facility. Focused on competitive cheerleading instruction and development, Vero Cheer offers all-star teams for girls and boys, ages 3 through 18. In addition to our competition teams, we offer tumbling instruction for toddlers through adult.
Our goal is to teach our athletes the values of character, commitment, dediction, leadership, teamwork, positive attitudes and a love for the sportof cheerleading. Our mission is to provide a safe and secure environment that challenges each athlete tobecome the best person they can be individually, athletically and as a team player. We work on each student's individual skills and talents to ensure a strong foundation, building self-confidence from within. This creates both a superior athlete and solid cheer squad.
All-Star cheerleading is a competitive sport in which cheerleaders perform a choreographed routine consisting of dance, stunting and gymnastic skills. All-Star cheerleaders do not "cheer" for a specific sport, but showcase their abilities and talents against other cheerleading squads across the nation. In just the last few years, cheerleading was finally recognized as a sport and not just an activity. The level of talent and difficulty it takes to become a cheerleader is among the highest of all traditional sports. Anyone can learn the skills necessary to become an all-star cheerleader by starting with the correct techniques necessary to move on to more advanced skills. No one starts at the top in the beginning; we must work our way up the ladder one step at a time. Children can participate on teams as early as age 4 and begin learning the skills necessary to become a great cheerleader. For those older, it is never too late to start. Even if you have never cheered before but love performing in front of a crowd, all-star cheerleading could be right for you. The tumbling and stunting skills can be taught at any age.
